Look at these beautiful pleated fuschias Patrice made for Saturday's class at the Ribbon Retreat next month. They are so sweet! And the night before, Patrice was inspired to make the pleated daffodil (for Friday's class) into a pincushion. Sunday is pleated pansies...Spring is definately blooming this year!
There is still room in the Ribbon Retreat workshops if you'd like to join us...click the link at top right.
Lisa introduced us to the world of painting on velvet (far right) to use for our crazy quilt block. Thanks, Lisa. You're a great teacher!
Thc painted clover and monogrammed "H" are the front and back of a velvet and silk ornament I discovered at Boulder Creek Antiques. They are stitched together with embroidery stitches.
