Crazy Quilted Strawberry is the workshop on Friday, November 6th. This project is a great introduction to crazy quilting, silk ribbon embroidery and dimensional flower making techniques.
I was inspired by a 1920’s jewelry box and this amazing wedding photograph to create this Antique Ribbon Box for Saturday, November 7th.
Roses, chili buds, wisteria and metallic edge leaves are remeniscent of ones from my antique collection.
French Pincushions are what we'll be making Sunday, November 8th. These French confections have pleated ruffles that adorn the silk and velvet pincushion, and roses, pansies and fuschias from hand-dyed silk ribbons.
